Pierre Salagnac
Pierre Salagnac is a bronzier, a sculptor and a designer. A graduate of the famous Boulle school in Paris, he was able to deepen his knowledge in the three specific skills that make up this secular profession: assembly, filming and chopping.
After having directed for twenty years some of the largest French bronze workshops, Pierre Salagnac is today stealing on his own two feet and finally devotes himself, under his own name, to his art of craftsman-sculptor.
His quest: "The form is in the matter". Pierre Salagnac hatches the metal. His perfect mastery of the bronze technique allows him to get rid of it to let the matter express the form it contains. Thus, it reveals with great virtuosity the organic curves of nature in the metal block.
Pierre Salagnac has forged a reputation in the world of interior decoration thanks to the bronze bonsai which he had hatched around the planet. Its “omino” tables are also emblematic of its exploration of nature and lightness. He also explores the artist's jewelry through a collection of rings from the leaves carved for his bonsai.
