Natalia Criado

Born and raised in Colombia, Natalia Criado discovered her innate talent for design from a young age. Her creative journey led her to obtain a diploma in industrial design at the IED of Milan, where she perfected her skills and kissed a new culture. Enriched with this fusion of influences, Natalia has undertaken a transformative path, founding its own brand of jewelry and accessories in 2011. Its eponymous brand embodies a multitasking creative approach which permeates its various creative companies.

Drawing on the rich heritage of pre -Columbian forms, Criado's creations reflect a fusion of the cultural inheritances of Colombia, its native country, and Italy, its country of adoption. By working in close collaboration with qualified craftsmen from the two countries, she successfully harmonizes contemporary design and traditional crafts, giving life to objects with minimalist geometric forms.

Working mainly with materials such as brass, glass, precious stones and ceramics, Natalia Criado captures the subtle beauty of everyday objects. However, its artistic trajectory transcends the conventional use of these materials. Its creative process is marked by a desire to experiment, exploring the capacity to transform metals and other elements. For Natalia, this metamorphosis begins with the meticulous manipulation of the wax, while it carries and carefully refines its ideas.
