Collection: Apr May

APR/May is a duo of designers who explores new ways of conceiving by drawing inspiration from Bessarabian folklore, encompassing crafts and history transmitted from generation to generation in the historic region of Bessarabia (mainly Moldova), through a contemporary but timeless reinterpretation.

Reinventing the creation process, each piece is unique, manufactured and assembled by hand in Moldova, highlighting local craft materials and traditional techniques: hand wool textiles embody the very essence of traditional Bessarabian crafts and serve as cornerstone for these creations. Carefully selected throughout the country for their unique patterns and weaving techniques, they are chosen individually for each piece of padded furniture.

The local aesthetic abundance guides each collections, named Seasons, bringing a touch of freshness and authenticity with each creation.
