COLLECTION: PROJECT 213A
PROJECT 213A IS A EUROPEAN DESIGN HOUSE LAUNCHED IN 2021, FOUNDED BY JURGITA DILEVICIUTE, THERESA MARX AND CLEMENT DEBOEUF.
THE BRAND NAME “PROJECT 213A” REFERRES TO A LONDON ADDRESS WHERE EVERYONE LIVED AT DIFFERENT TIMES DURING THEIR STUDIES.
JURGITA AND THERESA STUDIED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARTS LONDON, OBTAINING A DIPLOMA IN SHOE AND FASHION DESIGN; CLEMENT HAS A DIPLOMA IN FINANCE FROM INES PARIS.
AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF WORK IN THEIR RESPECTIVE FIELDS, THE GLOBAL CONFINEMENT OF 2020 OFFERED THE FOUNDERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK TOGETHER AND FOUND PROJECT 213A.
THE BRAND FOCUSES ON TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CREATING SUSTAINABLE DESIGN PIECES THAT DON'T FOLLOW TRENDS.
ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE LOCALLY IN THE IN-HOUSE CERAMIC AND WOOD WORKSHOPS OF PROJECT 213A, WITH THE HELP OF SKILLED ARTISANS FROM NORTHERN PORTUGAL.
THE PORTUGUESE CRAFTSMANSHIP HERITAGE ALSO HAS A STRONG INFLUENCE ON THE BRAND’S DESIGN PRACTICE. TO HONOR THIS, THE BRAND NAMES MOST OF ITS COLLECTIONS AFTER PORTUGUESE CITIES AND REGIONS.
