Medicine is a manifestation of a particular feeling, the one that arouses wonder, curiosity and joy.

Having spent her childhood in Asia, Nina remembers her first meeting with art and beauty in the scenes of daily life - among the silk dresses of Korean women, in the meticulous presentation of meals, on the beach among the scattered shells waiting to be picked up and then exposed on the bedside table, but also at home, where European objects coexisted in the exotic pieces Collected.

The merger of its European roots with the influences of its education in India, Malaysia and Korea is the basics of medicine and its design practice. With an admiration for the natural world and crafts, Nina breathes into her creations and her interiors a captivating mixture of cultural heritage, juxtaposition and artistic flair, always guided by the question: what makes an object desired, that we want to hold it ... either in hand or in desire?

In addition to her meticulous curation of antiques, Nina designs her own line of objects manufactured by craftsmen, working closely with qualified bronze, silver and glass craftsmen, using historical and traditional techniques.

Based in Prague, but often residing in the south of Sweden with her husband, a Swedish artist and composer, their son and their playful French Bulldog.
