AL-01 is the first part of an in progress series that explores the versatility of aluminum in furniture design. Both a sculpture and functional furniture, AL-01 is reduced to its most minimal form. The emphasis is placed on large flat surfaces which contrast with the delicacy of aluminum plates. The three plans are assembled using stainless steel fixings, and the assembly rests on four stainless steel feet.
