Balane sculpture in white stoneware, entirely handmade by the Parisian studio Leonceramiques.

Leonceramiques' works are transformed into sculptures with organic curves, evoking inspiring nature: algae, pebbles, dunes, plants, or chrysalises. Hand-shaped, each model is unique and slightly different.

AVAILABILITY AND SHIPPING
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the item is in stock and will be shipped within 48 business hours from order confirmation. For items with a different shipping timeframe, specific information is provided in the product listing — this timeframe takes precedence over the general mention above. We reserve the right to adjust shipping timeframes in the event of an unforeseen stock shortage, without this giving rise to any liability beyond a full refund of the order concerned.

In-store pickup is available under the same availability conditions. You will be notified by email as soon as your order is ready. In-store pickup is not available on Sundays.

RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are covered by the seller, except for oversized items (furniture, sofas, and any item indicated as such), which are not eligible for free returns. For these items, return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 days upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For the shipment of oversized items (furniture, sofas) outside continental Europe, a personalised quote will be provided upon request. Please contact us before placing your order.

LEONCERAMIQUES’ LIGHT SCULPTURES ARE HANDCRAFTED IN SMALL SERIES. EACH PIECE IS SIGNED “LEONCE” AND MADE TO ORDER, CREATING A UNIQUE OBJECT. THEY DRAW INSPIRATION FROM 1960S CERAMIC ARTISTS SUCH AS H. HARP, A. BORDERIE, AND V. SCHLEGEL, AS WELL AS FROM “BUBBLE” ARCHITECTURE AND WALKS ALONG THE BRITTANY COASTLINE, THE CERAMIST’S HOMELAND. THEMES OF SEAWEED AND CORAL BLEACHING APPEAR IN SEVERAL SCULPTURES. THE “BALANE” WALL LIGHT SCULPTURES REFLECT THE FRAGILITY OF COASTAL ECOSYSTEMS. BARNACLES, CRUSTACEANS CLOSE TO SHELLFISH AND HIGHLY SENSITIVE TO TEMPERATURE CHANGES, ARE RELIABLE INDICATORS OF THE ECOLOGICAL IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE. THESE OBJECTS, MADE OF RAW CLAY, STONEWARE, OR EARTHENWARE, WITH THEIR SOFT CURVES, BRING A SENSE OF GENTLENESS TO A DAILY LIFE THAT IS SOMETIMES TOO FAR REMOVED FROM NATURE.
