Rare "Bilobo" suspension by Tobia Scarpa for Flos in the 1960s. This lamp with diffuse suspension a soft light, equipped with a metallic glass diffuser. Its anodized aluminum support incorporates a spring device to easily remove the glass diffuser.
Inspired by the elementary lamps from the Bauhaus, this suspension is distinguished by its unique design which emphasizes the fixing point of the lampshade to a metal cylinder. The tube, inserted almost without contact inside the glass lampshade, offers an effective technical and aesthetic solution, in contrast to traditional assemblies by bolts. The use of glass loaded with metal or silica gives this lamp a vibrant shine, transforming space with its light. Functional, European intake. Very nice condition.
