Hugo Perish

"MY NAME IS HUGO AND I HAVE BEEN AN ARTISAN/DESIGNER FOR ALMOST FOUR YEARS IN A SMALL VILLAGE CLOSE TO VICHY. MOST OF MY ACTIVITY IS CENTERED ON WOODWORK, WHETHER FOR SCULPTURES OR FOR MANUFACTURING OF FURNITURE. THE WOOD THAT I USE MOSTLY COMES FROM INDUSTRIAL WASTE THAT I RECOVER FROM THE COMPANIES IN MY DEPARTMENT.
FOR THE REST, I SOURCE FROM LOCAL SAWMILLS. MY INSPIRATIONS ARE MULTIPLE; THEY CAN COME FROM AN IMPLEMENTATION TECHNIQUE, A SHAPE, A COLOR, A CULTURE, ETC. I DON'T WANT TO PICK MYSELF INTO ONE STYLE AND, ON THE CONTRARY, I WANT TO CONTINUE TO DISCOVER NEW THINGS EVERY DAY. I LIKE BEING BEABLE TO DISCUSS AND COLLABORATE WITH OTHER ARTISANS FROM DIFFERENT FIELDS."
