Ovoid ceramic vase with textured decor, by the French ceramist Jean Besnard in the 1940s. Conical mouth open on a round stamper. On the white background, a decor of two horizontal "lace" network strips stand out. This type of decor was invented by Jean Besnard in the 1930s, in collaboration with the Primavera workshops. Very good condition.
