Jialun Xiong, from Chongqing in China and now established in Los Angeles, embodies an artistic approach in which the notions of duality and creative restraint are intertwined. Inspired by the mountainous landscapes of his hometown as well as by functional minimalism characteristic of the international architectural style, Xiong model of spaces and furniture with an abstract geometric inclination, thus offering a precise framework to the human experience which Deploys.
