Barcelona armchair, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the German Pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition in 1929 and produced by Knoll from 1953 according to the designer's original specifications. This iconic model of 20th-century modernist design illustrates the balance between architectural rigor and material refinement.
The chrome-plated flat steel structure, forming an X-shaped base inspired by the ancient curule chair, supports a seat and backrest composed of leather cushions. The upholstery consists of sewn and tufted leather panels, assembled with matching buttons and piping, conforming to the curve of the frame. The leather straps, dyed in the same tone as the upholstery, reinforce the structure while contributing to the overall aesthetic.
Excellent condition, near new. The cognac leather shows good retention, with no cracks or major flaws. Steel frame in very good condition, with a uniform glossy finish and a slight patina consistent with age. Labeled.

RETURNS Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging.
