F422 "Globe" armchair and its P421 ottoman, designed by Pierre Paulin and produced by Artifort, Netherlands. The genesis of the model dates back to 1959, during Paulin's first collaboration with Artifort, resulting in an armchair specially designed for the artists' lounge at the Maison de la Radio in Paris.
Rounded shell in upholstered molded plywood, on a circular chrome swivel base. White faux leather upholstery, visible stitching on the seat and perimeter. The P421 ottoman features the same discoidal brushed metal base and the same upholstery.
Good overall condition. Visible dirt on the lower edge of the ottoman and the armchair. Slight scratches and impact marks on the back shell. Slight oxidation on the metal column, consistent with age. Stitching in good condition.
AVAILABILITY AND SHIPPING Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the item is in stock and will be shipped within 48 business hours from order confirmation. RETURNS Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are covered by the seller, except for oversized items (furniture, sofas, and any item indicated as such), which are not eligible for free returns. For these items, return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 days upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.
