Alan Louis
Born in Brittany in 1992, Alan Louis began his professional career as an officer of the merchant navy. However, his true desire lies in the fields of creation, drawing and ceramics, which he then explores in a self -taught manner. It was in Portugal that he decided to immerse himself in the art of ceramics and that he created in the fall of 2021 his own brand, Alan Louis.
Alan Louis considers art and design as ways to communicate his emotions and aspirations. His creations (furniture and objects of art) tell stories through their organic forms and their evocative contours, integrating various materials such as wood, metal and glass in a limitless creative process. Through his works, Alan Louis breathes an atmosphere of poetry, freedom and simplicity: he creates unique objects that captivate attention and question established standards, playing on duality between minimalism and extravagance.
Each piece is entirely handmade by the artist, signed and numbered, in his workshops located in Portugal, in the Ribatejo.
His artistic explorations also extend to the area of renovation and decoration, as evidenced by his project to modernize an apartment in Lisbon and an old house in the Portuguese countryside. Her various projects were notably celebrated through publications in emblematic decoration magazines such as Ad Magazine, she decoration and in several international press magazines.
