Wall sconce "Katoptris" in golden brass, by designer Mariza Galani. Shaped like a mirrored polyhedron. Entirely handcrafted in Greece. The wall sconce can be customized and installed horizontally upon request.

Katoptris opens up to magic. Everything happens in parallel: elements meet, light spreads, and realities as well as possibilities are reflected within it.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: ATTACH THE FLAT MOUNTING PLATE TO THE WALL USING A LEVEL. SECURE THE SCONCE TO THE PLATE BY TIGHTENING THE HEXAGONAL THUMB NUTS. CONNECT THE WALL SCONCE TO THE POWER SUPPLY, THEN INSERT AN R7S BULB OF YOUR CHOICE.
MAINTENANCE: DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICAL PRODUCTS, ONLY WATER.

AVAILABILITY AND SHIPPING
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the item is in stock and will be shipped within 48 business hours from order confirmation. For items with a different shipping timeframe, specific information is provided in the product listing — this timeframe takes precedence over the general mention above. In-store pickup is available under the same availability conditions. You will be notified by email as soon as your order is ready. In-store pickup is not available on Sundays.

RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are covered by the seller, except for oversized items (furniture, sofas, and any item indicated as such), which are not eligible for free returns. For these items, return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 days upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For the shipment of oversized items (furniture, sofas) outside continental Europe, a personalised quote will be provided upon request. Please contact us before placing your order.

MARIZA GALANI IS A LIGHTING DESIGNER BASED IN ATHENS. SHE STUDIED INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE, DECORATION, AND PRODUCT DESIGN AT THE ATHENS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, THEN OBTAINED A MASTER'S DEGREE IN ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING DESIGN AT KTH UNIVERSITY IN SWEDEN. HER LUMINOUS CREATIONS ARE INSPIRED BY THE TRIANGLE, A UNIVERSAL SYMBOL OF DIVINITY. MARIZA USES SHAPES NOT ONLY TO DESIGN FUNCTIONAL LUMINAIRES, BUT ABOVE ALL TO SEEK A HIGHER HARMONY THROUGH GEOMETRY. HER AMBITION: TO INFUSE THE ESSENCE OF SACRED PLACES INTO THE INTIMACY OF PRIVATE SPACES. IT IS IN OBSERVATION THAT FORMS REVEAL THEIR MYSTICISM AND ELEVATE OUR SPIRIT. HER SLOW AND METICULOUS CREATIVE PROCESS CONVEYS AN INNER ENERGY THAT FLOWS FREELY, FROM HANDS TO OBJECT, TO BREATHE LIFE INTO EACH OF HER UNIQUE PIECES. THUS, A LAMP BECOMES A CREATION IN ITS OWN RIGHT, AND NOT A MERE OBJECT. MADE TO ORDER AND HANDCRAFTED IN ATHENS, EACH PIECE TELLS A UNIQUE STORY.
