Table lamp from the Smok collection by Studio Karen B, in collaboration with Atelier Nathalie Chaulaic. Its silhouette is inspired by the feminine tuxedo imagined by Yves Saint Laurent, dressed in mosaic tesserae of golden glass paste and eggshell shards, the interior receives a brass patina that intensifies the luminosity and contrast.

Each piece is handmade in France, equipped with a European plug, the lamp comes with a bulb for immediate use.

KAREN BARMAKI

Born in Beirut into a family of architects, Karen Barmaki is a multifaceted French designer. Her family heritage imbues her with a sensitivity to space, which she displays throughout an eclectic career: architecture, interior design, furniture design, and even engineering, thus affirming a holistic approach to design.
AFTER COLLABORATING WITH MAJOR PARISIAN AND MONEGASQUE AGENCIES ON LARGE-SCALE PROJECTS, SHE TURNED TOWARDS PRESTIGE RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY IN FRANCE AND INTERNATIONALLY AND IS LAUNCHING HER FURNITURE LINE IN 2024.

PASSIONATE ABOUT 20TH CENTURY DECORATIVE ARTS, SHE PARTICULARLY LOVES THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN ARTISAN CRAFTSMANSHIP AND DESIGN.
