Large "Lattimo" vase in black glass, by the Italian architect Carlo Scarpa in the 1980s. Long neck slightly flared at the end. Signature filled at the tip: "Venini Italia 80". Good condition.

Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978) also left his mark on furniture and glassware design. He revolutionized the art of 20th century glassmaking by introducing innovative techniques and a modernized color palette, inspiring the master glassmakers of his time.
