Decorative marble and metal box by artist Evelina Kudabaite, from the "Marbleous" collection. Versatile, this unique object can be used both as a container, a small storage box or a storage space, but also as a vase.

The "Marbleous" collections illustrates how luxury materials, thanks to recycling, can keep their original shine while acquiring a new dimension. By upgrading fragments of marble, the artist creates unique objects, where each piece carries the history of his material.

The parts are made from marble recovered from the ground of an old banking building renovated in Kaunas, Lithuania. The marble, naturally fragile, was fractured during disassembly, the fracture line becoming the central element of the collection, underlined by a contrasting galvanized metal.
