MARS model flower vase in a spherical shape, made of silver-plated metal by Lino Sabattini for Christofle's Gallia collection. This model is featured in the 1959 "Formes Nouvelles" catalog, on page 12, showcasing Christofle's avant-garde designs. The vase is a two-part sphere, pierced with holes of varying sizes on its surface. Designed in the 1950s. Hallmarked on the base: CHRISTOFLE FRANCE , GALLIA , and the maker's mark.
Good overall condition, shows traces and marks consistent with age and use.
