ADU STUDIOS

ADU STUDIOS was founded by Vadim af Popowsky in 2022 between Antwerp and Lisbon. The studio was born from a deep passion for interior spaces and a desire to combine material craftsmanship with technological precision. In collaboration with specialized artisans, designers, and engineers, ADU shapes design objects that evoke emotion, wonder, and reflection.
Each piece embodies a philosophy of contemplation: creating moments of pause and connection within everyday life. The studio utilizes natural materials such as Estremoz marble or alabaster, sculpted by time, combined with bespoke electronic components to create timeless objects.
THE NAME ADU (A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING FOR A DEEP UNDERSTANDING) REFLECTS VADIM'S PHILOSOPHY: TO PROVOKE REFLECTION, TO AWAKEN CURIOSITY AND TO CREATE WORKS THAT INVITE CONTEMPLATION.
