ELEGANT GLASS VASE WITH OVOID BODY, BY SCHNEIDER GLASSWORKS IN THE 1920s. TOPPED WITH A SHORT NECK, IN DOUBLE-LAYERED GLASS WITH A BUBBLE PINK BACKGROUND AND INTERCALATED ENAMELS, GREEN AND CARMINE. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
THE SCHNEIDER GLASSWORKS, FOUNDED IN 1911 BY THE TWO BROTHERS ERNEST AND CHARLES SCHNEIDER, REVOLUTIONIZED THE ART OF GLASSWORKING WITH BLOWN GLASS TECHNIQUES AND ENTIRELY HAND-MADE PIECES. THE SCHNEIDER BROTHERS INVENTED A NEW STYLE, A SUBTLE MIXTURE OF ART DECO AND MODERNISM, TO WHICH THEY ADDED A BRIGHT AND ORIGINAL PALETTE OF COLORS.
