Wassily B3 armchair in white leather, designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 while he was a student at the Bauhaus, for the apartment of painter Vassily Kandinsky.
This re-edition retains the signature chromed tubular steel frame of the original model, with white leather straps forming the seat, backrest, and armrests. An icon of modernism, the Wassily is considered the first chair made from steel tubing adapted from building industry materials.
Condition consistent with age: some visible marks on the frame, wear and creasing on the leather straps, and a minor repair at a leather joint.
