Sophie Lou Jacobsen

Sophie Lou Jacobsen, a Franco-American designer currently established in New York, initiated her own studio in 2019. His initial interest was focused on daily use objects, with a predominance for the use of glass as a medium, thus exploring the 'Interaction between the object and the user. The genesis of his work is based on the conviction that objects have intrinsic power to improve the mood of their users through their form and function. Focused on the simplicity of objects and rituals, it endeavors to transform them in a surprising and pleasant way in order to enrich the user experience. Convinced that the objects around us can and must be marked by a certain poetry, it thus works to create a relationship between human beings and objects based on mutual respect. More recently, Sophie has expanded her exploration field to include lighting and more imposing parts, offered in a limited edition.
